In February 2009, a First Year Experience Curriculum Design Symposium was held at QUT in Brisbane: see http://www.fyecd2009.qut.edu.au/

The Symposium was a major outcome of the research conducted under the Fellowship and brought together 400 national and international delegates, from across academic, support and service areas. Over two days, a range of eminent keynotes presented, there were opportunities for delegates to consider the Fellowship’s first year curriculum principles and over 40 FYE Showcase exemplars were displayed (the later collected together in an eBook at http://www.fyecd2009.qut.edu.au/resources/FYE_ShowcaseAbstracts_17Mar09_final.pdf (pdf 1.51MB).
